Facilities & Services For International Students

Facilities include a £13m state-of-the-art library, which opened in 1998, 24-hour access computing rooms, a purpose-built science block, well-equipped engineering workshops, language laboratories, gymnasium, squash courts and outdoor sports pitches. A well-developed student support service is available to offer advice and specialist information.

The new Ada Byron King building

has substantially upgraded provision for the Faculty of Education, creating a high-quality base for around 500 teacher education students and 55 members of staff.

More recent additions at Clifton have included a purpose-built £1.3 million 450-seat lecture theatre block as well as a £2 million sports hall complex which offers enhanced specialist features for sports science students and opens up new leisure opportunities for the whole university community.
