If you choose to live in a halls of residence, usually
these are situated on or very near to the campus, that
there are no daily transportation charges. But if you
stay away from your campus, daily transportation charges
add up to your cost of living. Note that if you are
a research student, you may need to undertake extensive
travel. If you are thinking of purchasing/ bringing
your own car, you need to pay road tax (£155 per
year), and insurance (up to £500). The cost of
unleaded petrol is 76.9p per litre. |
