Accomodation

On campus accommodation is available at the university halls of residence. Most British Universities/Colleges guarantee accommodation to international students having an unconditional offer and applying well in time. Some of the benefits of on campus accommodation are:

  • You usually live close to where you are studying
  • You get an opportunity to know and be friends with other international and British students easily
  • You are likely to spend less time travelling, so you have time to know the local area
  • You will be living in a safe and secure environment.
  • You can cook your own meal alone or with the group of friends as per your taste and preferences.
  • You will have a long term contract – further avoiding hassles of moving.
  • You can contact the support desk at the university accommodation office for any support, complains and with any finance issue.

The charges for an on campus accommodation vary from

place to place depending on the facilities provided/ available there in. Student should estimate an average of the following costs:
  • Within London
Self catered en-suite accommodation £70-90 per week, and shared accommodation £50-70 per week
  • Outside London
Self catered en-suite accommodation £65-80 per week, and shared accommodation £50-65 per week
At Trivedi Consultants sorting students accommodation is an integrated part of our services. Till date we have been 100% successful with the university support to manage on campus accommodation, for students to our affiliated universities.

Private Accommodation

If you choose to rent accommodation in the private sector, the options are private hostels, lodgings, bed-sits or shared flats/houses. A lodging is where you rent a room in a private house. Your landlord/landlady would live in the same house, possibly with their family, and would prepare your meals for you. For hostel accommodation and lodgings where meals are included, you can expect to pay £300 to £400 per month. For a bed-sit or a room in a house or flat shared with other students, you would pay from £200 to £380 per month.
