How does the University of Central Lancashire prepare the students for the real world of work?
Placement students undertake a module which introduces them to the world of full time employment. They assess what kind of job will suit them best and how to develop their skills while on placement.
Students are also introduced to the major recruitment processes and actively participate in exercises alone and in groups. The students will have fully completed a health and safety in the workplace training courses.
If one of our students gets placed within your company, we will then ask you to complete our Health and Safety Placement Questionnaire which we will send out to you, and you will also have to provide a copy of your Employer’s Liability Certificate, Health and Safety statement and appropriate risk assessments.
