Quality
teaching
Kingston University is committed to providing
the highest quality teaching for all its
students.
This is reflected in the results of official
inspections carried out by the Government's
Quality Assurance Agency (QAA). No fewer
than 12 subjects have been rated as "excellent"
and every subject at Kingston over the
past six years has been awarded 20 or
above (out of a maximum of 24) by external
assessors.

The Guardian
(2002): Kingston featured
in 16 subject league tables highlighting
the top universities for different subject
areas. Some examples of Kingston's excellent
achievements are:
- Town
and Country Planning - 4th
- Built
Environment - 6th
Architecture, Biosciences, Business,
Civil Engineering, Drama, Education,
English, Environmental Sciences,
History, Languages, Mathematics,
Mechanical Engineering, Social Work
and Sociology were the other subjects
featured.

Financial Times (April 2001)
Placed
Kingston University 5th among all other
universities for teaching quality, as taken
from Government assessments.
