How To Apply

The following section gives out details pertaining to the entry requirements for a successfully application to The Emirates Academy Of Hospitality Management.

Students will be judged on individual basis on the following three criteria for an admission:

  • Academic ability and achievements to date
  • Proof of adequate proficiency in English
  • Their suitability for the industry in terms of personal characteristics and motivation.

When considering candidates for admission, the admission office looks at the entire profile of the candidate, including academic records, work experience if any, extra curricular activities, test scores and recommendations. Applicants’ credentials are evaluated as soon as the application form, and all relevant documentation, is received and a decision will be normally reached within four weeks of its receipt.

Stage 1

Interview with Trivedi Consultants, at this stage we will interview individual student and assess their ability to meet the admission requirement for courses offered by Emirates Academy Of Hospitality Management. If we find the student suitable, only then we will process your application to the second stage.

Courses
 
  • A fully completed application form with all relevant attachments and an application fee of AED 500 (US $ 150), - This can be obtained from our office or can be printed from our site.
  • An essay explaining your motivation for the course and towards the industry (300 – 400 words).
  • Certified copies of your 12th grade high school leaving certificate with minimum average score of 70%, along with the transcripts showing all courses completed and the grades achieved.
  • Complete information on the school or college you studied at, with an explanation of the grading system.
  • An original copy of Teacher Evaluation Form (this can be obtained from our office)
  • Provide a valid medical certificate.
  • Two recent passport-type photographs.
  • Provide proof of adequate English, if your 1st language is not English; (IELTS / TOEFL Results).
  • All Original certified certificates must be produced on the first day of enrolment.

Stage 3

After the Administration Manager has confirmed that all above requirements have been fulfilled and the candidate is eligible for admission, students will be invited for a second stage of application, which involves:

  • A Key-skills Assessment Battery: Candidates can be asked to take a proficiency test in Communication, IT, Mathematics, and Learning skills
  • A personal interview: A panel determines candidates’ suitability for the industry in terms of personal characteristics and motivation

A final decision take on the application and interview will be conveyed to the applicant within 2 weeks from the interview date.
